Featuring Dumisani Mbebe, Angela Sithole and Jerry Mofokeng, In The Dock showcases a brilliant cast

Mzansi Magic is getting ready to wow audiences with its brand-new crime drama, In The Dock produced by The Milton Empire. Mark your calendars for 19 November, as every Sunday will bring intrigue, suspense, and dramatic twists from the corridors of politics to the courtrooms of justice.

The narrative revolves around Loyiso Olifant, skilfully played by the accomplished Dumisani Mbebe. Loyiso, a politician, finds himself at the centre of a shocking mystery following the strange death of his wife, Lungi Olifant, brought to life by Angela Sithole. Veteran actor Jerry Mofokeng stars as Khulile Motaung, adding to the impressive ensemble.

Set primarily within the tense confines of a courtroom, In The Dock sees Loyiso under the sharp scrutiny of justice. As the story unfolds, Loyiso, with his back against the wall, has to fight to prove his innocence amidst mounting evidence and public speculation. With each episode, the court becomes both a stage of confrontation and a place of revelation, challenging viewers to question: did he or didn’t he do it?

The cast is further strengthened with performances by Katlego Danke, Ayakha Ntunja, Toka Ntunjana, Felicia Mahambehlala, Lorraine Moropa, Tshepo Maseko, Kwanele Mthethwa, and the iconic Yvonne Chaka Chaka as the presiding judge. Also in the series is LA-based actor Bongani Ndyalvane, who previously appeared in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

In The Dock promises a heart-racing experience that will throw audiences into the world of Loyiso, the troubled minister as he faces accusations, court confrontations, revealing flashbacks, and the shadow of a mystery witness.

Guided by Zolani Phakade and Nthabi Tau directorial vision, In The Dock is certain to set the standard with its compelling storyline, sharp dialogues, and standout performances.

Don’t miss the premiere of In The Dock on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) Sunday 19 November at 20:00. Episodes will also be available on DStv Stream.
